IMDB rating: 5.90 Plot: A couple checks into a suite in Las Vegas. In flashbacks we see that he's a computer whiz on the verge of becoming a dot.com millionaire, she's a lap dancer at a club. He's depressed, withdrawing from work, missing meetings with investors. He wants a connection, so he offers her $10,000 to spend three nights with him in Vegas, and she accepts with conditions: four hours per night of erotic play, and no penetration. During the days in Vegas, they get to know each other, have fun, meet a friend of hers; at night, at least after the first night, things seem to get complicated. Is mutual attraction stirring? Will they play by their rules? Can it be about more than money? |

Undergrowth with Two Figures
If you could ask Vincent Van Gogh what he accomplished in his lifetime he would probably say not much. But we know now that Van Gogh gave the world a gift. He is now one of the most recognized painters of all time for his exquisite masterpieces that went somewhat unrecognized in his time. They are now and will forever be considered fine works of art.
According to Encyclopedia Britannica Online, Vincent Van Gogh painted over 800 paintings and sketched over 700 drawings in his troubled life (Vincent van Gogh par. 18). Undergrowth with Two Figures was finished in France Jun 1890 and was one of the last paintings Van Gogh completed before he ended his own life the following month. It was painted with oil based paints on a canvas medium. It is a medium size with dimensions of 19 1/2 x 39 1/4 in. Undergrowth with Two Figures is located in gallery 227 at the Cincinnati Art Museum in the 19th and 20th century European art section. It has an accession number of 1967.1430. It is positioned right next to two entrance ways leading into other galleries in a brightly lit room so you are certain to observe it upon departure of that space. There are no windows in the room probably intended that way to protect the art. It has been singled out on a large wall all on its own perhaps because it is such a fine piece. It has three lights intended specifically for it, where on adjacent walls there are several pieces of artwork; maybe five or six per wall, with only five lights for all of them. When you look at this painting there is nothing obstructing your view of it. There is also nothing entering into you periphery when viewing it except two doorways five or six feet on either side of it. There is one bench in the center of the room.
